Issue 3: Editors’ Note

…And just like that, we present to you the third issue of The Post Grad Journal! After hundreds of submissions from new and old readers alike, we are elated and humbled to share this latest collection of work.

We began this project shortly after the start of the pandemic as a way to help us feel connected and engaged with the world around us. This latest issue centers around many of the existential questions that have surfaced as we sat with ourselves over the past two years. How do we build a meaningful life? How do we make sense of the inevitable passage of time? What, if any, higher powers guide our journey? How do we make sense of nostalgia and heartbreak?

We hope this collection of poems brings you comfort in remembering how universal these challenges are. And we hope our authors’ words bring you awe in recognizing all that is still left to be reckoned with. But most importantly, we hope that this issue reminds you that these months, these years, are meant to be lived intentionally. Your life at this moment is a life worth living fully.

As you read this issue, we hope you let the words flow through you and that you find space to sit with whatever arises. We promise on the other side is something worth finding.

Thank you, as always, for reading and feeling alongside us.
